There is a great deal of trust that is required to give ourselves freely to another. It becomes more difficult to do as we get older and learn some of life's more trying lessons. Abandoning ourselves to another is the highest emotional risk we can take and when it is returned the heights to which we can soar are limitless. It was understanding this concept that brought a new sense of hope, and verve to my life and work. |
